It all started when she won a beauty contest in Hawaii, and subsequently received her first modelling assignment as part of a jewellery campaign. She continued as a model in London and featured at the London Fashion Week several times. It was in one of her appearances that Kaizad Gustad noticed her and casted her in his erotic heist film Boom, along with Amitabh Bachchan, Gulshan Grover, Jackie Shroff, etc.
This opened the doors for her to the road to Indian film industry, plus the influence of her father. She then did a role for a Telugu film Malliswari, in 2004. That was when she shot to fame. She started inspiring people with her styles, fashion, lifestyle, her work, etc. She became a star at a young age and had many hit films. An applause for her that she didn’t get discouraged and didn’t deviate herself from the path due to some challenges that came in her way, including flop films.
She still remains a top actress and a top model, and has won various awards, but most importantly, she has won many hearts. Kaif is also involved with Relief Projects India, a charitable trust run by her mother which rescues abandoned baby girls and works to prevent female infanticide. Kaif’s personal life has been the subject of extensive media attention from many years.
We appreciate the fact that Kaif has sticked to the industry, chosen this stream and has done exceptionally well. And also, for the fact that despite originating from London, where her modelling career started and she could’ve easily gotten roles in Hollywood, she chose the Indian industry and outperformed many artists. She truly is an inspiration. Hats off!!! We wish Katrina happiest birthday with a long, happy, and a successful life ahead.
