KEEP CALM BECAUSE WORK MODE IS ON


We all get tired slogging day and night for a living. Why not make it a healthy one instead. After all we all have to live. It is imperative to avoid people at work places who give us a toxic relationship. Dealing with negativity becomes a big thing when it comes to office. Whether it is our boss or a colleague. We might just bump into a conversation with anyone which can affect us and get a frown on our faces easily. Hence, saying no plays a significant role followed by other small steps which can assist us in balancing a peaceful mind during our work hours.

Stroll: if something is not letting you ponder and work efficiently, it is better to take a stroll in your cabin itself. Give yourself the time and energy to generate some neuro transmitters which will help you regain energy and allow you to work effectively. According to a report, people taking a lunch hour walk, were fit and healthy while working. They were productive too while giving pristine ideas which helped them sustain a positive approach in their work place. (NEWYORK TIMES, 2015)

Coffee breaks: Help yourself by taking short breaks where in you can come back to pace. Take something which will make you happy. A strong coffee, refreshing iced- tea, a book to go through anything. 7 minute short break might give you a kick to perform and encode the system properly. It is our brain after all which also requires rest at times. Psychology says that we can only work efficiently for about 40 minutes. Hence a break is required to get back to it and start afresh. Two min self-talking technique: are you feeling suffocating? Did something pinch you? Is it an overwhelming situations? Did something just happen which turned you off? If yes then this technique of talking to self will help your mind to be calm and composed. There are many apps like CALM which will just ask you to stop for about 30 seconds and do nothing. If you are fond of writing, try to pen down the event that just took place which destroyed your mood. Talk to a friend and just say hello, you will feel better. Breathing will also calm your anxiety.

Hydrated: most importantly, a humid weather is just unbearable. It is hence asked to drink plenty of water and keep yourself hydrated. Drinking water will give you enough energy and shall help in retaining for long. Keep sipping water when you feel low. Thus, will align all the chakras and you may heal and feel better.
