I don’t know what’s wrong with my skin? Why pimples? Too oily. Dermatologists are not helping. The products are so expensive. This and that, sick of the fad. Can’t go out without taking a glimpse on the reflector. The idea of a glowing skin has always been a clichéd one. We head towards an existing idea of twinkling amongst each other. Daily lives cannot be dealt with make up on every time. Yes! Our skin needs to breathe too. And therefore we have to make sure that we are giving it enough care in order to have a radiant epidermis. Ladies, involve little steps to shine from within.
HYDRATE: first and the most important keep yourself hydrated enough. The more the water intake, the clearer the skin and toxins from our bodies. According to the nutritionist, Mitzi Dulan, “downing three 24-ounce servings of ice water in a day can help your body burn up to 100 extra calories. Do it every day and you could lose up to 10 pounds over the course of a year”. Water intake can be in form of green tea as well. Stay away from the diet cokes!
EAT RIGHT: as taught earlier in schools a balanced diet is a must. Include all types of foods in your healthy routine. From proteins, vitamins to healthy fats. These will not only help in keeping your skin healthy but also will protect your from skin getting diseased.
SLEEP WELL: Doesn’t matter how many messages you have not seen in last 45 minutes, leave that half chapter unread from a book. Don’t keep yourself awake for too long. For a healthy skin, one must complete the sleep cycle for best of the results. If you are eating right then you will sleep tight as well. “Early to bed early to rise, makes a man healthy wealthy and wise”. Can’t forget this at all!
MAINTAIN THE LIFESTYLE: For a nourishing life, one must not forget to take little steps like eating well. Avoid eating late at night. Keeping yourself away from screens prior an hour before bedtime will lead a good morning. Manage anxieties by some simple relaxation exercises. Also, reduce the caffeine intake. Nutritional therapist, Kerry suggests that sugar processed food should be converted into a glass of milk and a slice of banana.
