The Ambani’s are known for throwing lavish parties which are attended by the Alisters of tinsel town. When it comes to throwing party for their own children it ends up looking like a red carpet event.
The business tycoon family had announced in march the marriage of their elder son Akash ambani with Shloka Mehta the daughter of diamond tycoon Russel Mehta.
The star studded pre engagement bash took place on Friday evening in their south Mumbai residence . The glamorous event saw the presence of many Bollywood a-listers such as Katrina kaif , shah rukh kan with wife gauri khan , priyanka chopra attended the event with nick Jonas. Many cricket stars also joined the bash such as Sachin Tendulkar with wife Anjali Tendulkar.
According to reports, the starry bash last night was followed by traditional ring ceremony.Shloka mehtha looked stunning in a heavily embroidered Abu Jani Sandeep khosla lengha and paired it with heavy jewelry and dewy makeup. The sister in in law Isha Ambani opted for an attire from the same designer but in a pretty pale colour
The stars were dressed to their nine’s ,in an attempt to outdo each other. Alia Bhatt looked ravishing in a dual tone sari from manish malhota and paired it with statement earrings and a neat updo with a gajra tied to it. We think she looked beautiful as ever
Priyanka chopra served looks in a red sari from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and Amarpali jewels. Not only her attire was impressive but her choice of plus one i.e nick Jonas impressed us too.
Shah rukh khan was spotted wearing a custom black suit whereas Gauri khan opted for a long sleeves , black and silver falguni shane peacock.
Karan johar the head of Dhrama productions also opted for a maroon sherwani by by Manish Malhotra.
Well if the pre engagement party was full of glam and glitz we will have to wait for the wedding to see what all Bollywood gossip is in store for us.
