Pallavi Jaikishan mesmerized the fashion critics with her collection Nostalgia at Indian Couture Week 2018. The veteran designer presented mesmerising contemporary bridal wear designs which will make you the star of any wedding. The fashion line represented a combination of her classic and contemporary designs all infused in one collection.

The very talented designer gave her two decades old designs a modern twist. She used her 20-year-old charkha designs with flower motifs which brought a fresh vibe into the ensembles.

Fabrics such as georgette, duchess satin were used which resonated a vibe of the golden days. The fabric gave a complete glass-like look to the designs which complimented the statement pieces.

The collection attempted to bring back the very beautiful kabja, which can be worn on blouses and can be paired with lehengas and saree.

The elegant collection showcased the matrimonial relationship between the modern and the classic designs. A variety of styles were showcased from four circle ghagras with can-cans to slim straight falling lehenga skirts to blouses, to Shararas & jackets and not to forget a huge range of beautiful sarees. The designs were regal and elegant making the audience present in for a treat.

The Regal collection flaunted trending colour tones in various shades of metallic such as dove blue, old rose and silver oyster with a touch of pink which are perfect for this wedding season.
