Snoring! A habit, which actually no one likes. If someone is snoring occasionally then that is not a matter of issue, but if this is a regular thing then that is something to worry about. The noises are like wheezes, whistles or rattles that not only irritates your partner but also block your airway. Clogged and chronic snoring is also a symptom, of a potentially serious condition of heart disease which is known as obstructive sleep apnea. Also, snoring can be a risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Not only snoring can lead to so many harmful diseases but it can also obstruct your normal day to day life which includes daytime sleepiness, frequent frustration or anger, high blood pressure, concentration problems, and an increased likelihood of car accidents. It also causes dry mouth or sore or irritated throat when we wake up in the morning. In other words, snoring is just not irritating for the partner, but it is also very dangerous for your own self and hence deserve proper medical attention.
Snoring can occur during any stage of your life, normally it is common in adults. From research, it is being stated that there are more male snorers as compared to female. In some families, snoring is hereditary too and with some people, they snore because they sleep directly on your back. Yes, it is a lesser known fact but sleeping directly on your back can cause snore. Also, everybody is working very hard in their official lives and get no time to rest. Such kind of mental stress is also a cause of temporary snoring. But if this is happening on a regular basis then you need to rush to the doctor.

· Excessive daytime sleepiness

· Sore throat upon awakening
· Restless sleep
· Gasping or choking at night

· Your snoring is so loud it’s disrupting your partner’s sleep
· In children, poor attention span, behavioral issues or poor performance in school
After talking about so much about this habit there are many ways to stop it too. Not only medication but you can solve this problem at your home too, like changing your lifestyle, a little bit, losing weight, good food, avoiding alcohol and cigarettes close to bedtime can actually help to improve in your snoring situation. Other than this, medication and surgery is always an option, but these aren’t suitable for all the people who snore on a regular basis. Many things wrong that are happening in our body is because of the lifestyle that we all are leading. Little improvement in our living can actually solve half of our problems, but if are going to sit back, the consequences will actually lead us to severe harmful diseases.
